You can resolve the Window to Wall Ratio (or Maximum Allowable Glazing) for your model based on the thermal performances for elements of the building envelope. As you select the elemental thermal performances, Guardian Glass for BIM will dynamically indicate the optimal Wall to Window Ratio for this configuration.
As performance values for Glazing and Walls improve, both Current Façade Performance and Maximum Allowable Glazing percentage increase.
For Metric models, the Current Façade Performance should be equal to or lower than the Maximum Façade Performance.
For Imperial models, the Current Façade Performance should be equal to or higher than the Maximum Façade Performance.
